Care Guide

Made to Age,
Not Just Last.

Crazy Horse leather is meant to live a little. Here's how to keep your VAULT piece at its best, for as long as you carry it.

01

Know What You're Carrying

Crazy Horse leather lightens where it bends and darkens again once released — a natural "pull-up" effect. Marks and color shifts aren't flaws. They're the leather developing its own patina, unique to how you use it.

02

Everyday Care

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after use. Keep it out of direct sunlight for long stretches — it can fade unevenly. If it gets wet, let it air dry naturally, away from any heat source.

03

Scratches Fade on Their Own

Light surface marks are part of pull-up leather. Rub the area gently with your fingers or a soft cloth — the leather's natural oils will help it blend back in over time.

04

Condition Twice a Year

Apply a small amount of neutral conditioner with a soft cloth, in gentle circular motions. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes, then buff with a clean cloth. Pull-up leather doesn't need more than this.

Our Recommendation

Bickmore Bick 4 Leather Conditioner

Cleans, conditions, and protects smooth-finished leather without darkening it — a trusted choice for your VAULT piece.

05

Store It Right

Somewhere cool and dry, away from direct heat or sun. Skip sealed plastic — leather needs to breathe. Your VAULT box was built for exactly this.

06

What to Avoid

Harsh chemical cleaners, alcohol-based wipes, extended water exposure, and humid storage. All of these work against the leather, not with it.
